Pauline Rendall

I've written stories for as long as I can remember, starting with stories of myself as hero of some thrilling episode (modelled on the Biggles and Worrals stories that at twelve I devoured), moving through stories about wild animals (modelled on Jack London's White Fang) to stories about girls with ponies. Indeed it was one of those that got me my first publishing success.

            More recently I've turned to crime. I've had a few stories of that nature published in on-line magazines such as Flash-Fiction World, and I've recently self-published a police procedural novel, Hangman's Wood under the pseudonym of Paula.K.Randall
            As well as writing I read voraciously and have a catholic taste in literature. My other passions are opera, photography, cats and cricket, not necessarily in that order.
